MakerBot SD Cards

MakerBot 2X machines use an SD card to print, which is supplied on purchase of the unit, but in a large hub of printers like we have at the Bartlett these SD cards often end up misplaced. However, it's not difficult or expensive to replace these SD cards and below is a guide to correctly formatting yours.

Buy a 2GB SDSD or SDSC 

You can buy these easily and cheaply from Amazon.

Download Formatting Software

If your computer is not able to format the SD card to FAT16 by default (Windows Vista and newer) then download this formatting tool-

Format

Use the software above to format your SD card into FAT16.

That's all there is to it!

    According to Stanford Medical, It's in fact the ONLY reason this country's women live 10 years longer and weigh 42 pounds less than us.

    (And really, it is not about genetics or some secret exercise and absolutely EVERYTHING about "how" they eat.)
